Re: Bonaparte's Gulls & Red-breasted Mergansers at Aquatic Park
First I went to Martinez and tried to find the Short-eared Owl, saw a rather large Owl? flying low over the marsh but was not able to get my scope on it. This one is not on my list as of yet.

01/20 -- Red-throated Loon -- Berkeley Aquatic Park
At about 3PM, I arrived at Berkeley Aquatic Park to look for the
Northern Waterthrush.
While counting gulls on the water, a saw a large gray, long-winged loon
fly right through my binocular view.
