At 9:19 this morning, 10/7/2018, I saw 2 skeins of Greater White Fronted-geese flying north along the Bay Trail crossing San Lorenzo Creek (near Grant Ave.) in San Leandro. There were about 85 geese

Looks like an immature male Common Yellowthroat. I can see the resemblance to Tropical Parula, but that would have a blue-gray crown and entirely pale orange lower mandible.

Walnut Creek birds Wednesday Oct. 3
The Tropical Kingbird was seen by at least three of us this morning. Rosalie, Tracy and I were under the large oak on the west side of the pond, when Tracy asked, "Isn't that the Tropical Kingbird?"
