My wife and I visited Jean Richmond's house in Alamo today, Rosita drove and I rode my bike. Rosita saw a Flicker in the bird bath; Jean says she has never had one so early in the fall. She also has continuing Hooded Orioles. Jean said she never had a Bullock's Oriole this year. Lots of Anna's Hummingbirds visiting the back yard, too, as well as some of the now teen-aged Spotted Towhees.
