Lapland Longspur

I did not see a post about this yet, so am posting now. Five birders including myself, Cricket, Greg from San Francisco, and two cycling-birders from don't-know-where relocated one of the continuing LAPLAND LONGSPURS at Mount Trashmore today in Hayward. The bird was first located as it flushed, issuing its famous rattle call, and then observed well through scopes. Look for the first artificial drainage as you walk south along the eastern edge. Bird remained there entire time.

Also present were 6 SNOW GEESE. Many CACKLING GEESE of both expected varieties and a BURROWING OWL.
