Re: eBird Report of CONNECTICUT WARBLER at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park
This looks like a 1st-fall Yellow Warbler to me. The patterned wing (pale edgings and dark centers on the greater coverts creating a ghost of a pale wing-bar or wing-panel) I think is a Yellow characteristic Plain-winged, non-Dendroica warblers, such as Connecticut, MacGillivray's, Nashville, Orange-crowned, etc., seem to have very plain wings without any hint of wing-bars.

Subject: [EBB_Sightings] eBird Report of CONNECTICUT WARBLER at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park
Acting only as the messenger:I just saw an eBird report from Middle Harbor Shoreline Park yesterday afternoon with a photo of what appears to be a HY Connecticut Warbler.
I just wanted to get the word out to EBB. I'm heading there shortly to investigate for myself.
