I led my Palo Alto Adult School birding class to Sunol Regional Wilderness today. Activity was high early in the day with CASSIN'S VIREO singing before the entrance gate was opened. We had both NASHVILLE and HERMIT WARBLER near the visitors center and pedestrian bridge. RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW put on a great show along the creek beyond the corral.
