Six Black Osytercatchers at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley
George A Suennen
Stopped by Cesar Chavez Park this afternoon and spotted 3 pairs of Black Osytercatchers on the east side of the park. They were working the rocks next to the water along with Willets, Coots, and Ravens. I took lots of photos of the osytercatchers and posted a few at:
They moved around some because of the dogs and people, but kept in contact with each other with their loud calls.
It turned out to be a nice day after the morning rain.
