I should add that there were also 2 red-necked phalaropes on the pond today.

After noticing multiple eBird reports of Wilson's Phalarope at the pond between Waterbird Way and Waterfront Road in Martinez, I went to see what I could find this afternoon. I found and was was able to count just over 100. The first EBird report for the location was July 5, and recent counts have been up to and over 150 individuals.
So apparently this is not only a large concentration for CCC, but the birds have chosen to linger.
