Another Mob Scene


I was out at Oakland Middle Harbor yesterday looking at the
Semi-Palmated Plovers on the sandy shore near the observation tower,
when a Western Gull took a disliking toward me. It made about ten
swoops at my head and, oddly, in total silence. I saw no reason for juveniles were present. I only saw another adult gull perched
nearby and quite calm about me being there.

Finally it stopped, and landed near the other handsome adult.
