In something of a return to form, the Coyote hills Nectar Garden was very birdy today.

Pacific Slope Flycatcher
Warbling Vireo
Wilson's Warbler
Annas Hummingbird
Allens Hummingtbird
American Robins
Spotted Towhees
Swainsons Thrush
Bullocks Oriole (female)
Lesser Goldfinch
Scrub Jay
Western Tanager (male, bright)

Also counted 5 species of butterfly including the less common Red Admiral.

The Coyote Hills Nectar Garden is adjacent to the visitor center on the West end on Patterson Road in Fremont. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 PM.
