Hi all,
If my records are right, this is my 8th annual 7-10 Thanksgiving a.m. hallpass
bird blitz.
Highlights included: Osprey -- Brooks Island.
Pelagic Cormorant - 5 Marina Bay Parkway inner harbor jetty -- high count for me
on the bay
Eurasian Wigeon - 1+ - Albany Crescent - Both were together near the county line
shoreline but scoped from Buchanan.
One looked cleanly Eurasian, but one looked orange-faced but a bit dark at that
range, so I thought maybe a hybrid.
Tufted Duck and Barrow's Goldeneye (3 males) - Lake Merritt
