At 9am this morning there were two Mountain Bluebirds on Patterson Pass Rd about 100 yds up the road from windfarm gate #9. Down on Midway Rd I saw no Rough-legged or any other hawks except for one or two Red-taileds. There were three recent ehird reports of Rough-legged with only one mentioning Midway Rd, but all three have map pointers on Patterson Pass Rd well west of the summit - a very dangerous stretch of road far from the actual sighting.
