This morning @ ~9:30am, while conducting point counts with Friends of Sausal Creek in Joaquin Miller Park, a Townsend's Solitaire made a brief appearance. Access is from the Sequoia Arena Parking Area. The bird was observed standing near the benches in the bowl at the head of Fern Ravine Creek and was actively foraging at the canopy of the tall nearby pines.
