I'm typically birding from my bike so I don't into the woods a lot to find warblers, but this fall I have hit the woods and seen an abundance of Black-throated Grays. And today, a minute after i took a seat in my patio to do some work, i heard the chip note of one and quickly rushed over to see it before it flew off into the neighbor's yard.
New yard birds are not easy in this area so it's a nice start to the weekend.
