Wilson's Snipe at Garretson Pond

A pair of Wilson's Snipe were feeding openly in the shallows next to fence by the road yesterday. They show up every year but are usually more reclusive and their camouflage feathering makes them hard to spot. I've read that they are one of the most abundant shorebirds in North America.
