The
vegetation on the floor of the pond was cut fairly recently, making it much
easier to bird than normally. Yesterday late morning I saw 2 sora, 1
common gallinule, and at least 25 Wilson's snipe along with usual expected
species. The large number surprised me but BNA Online says that in some
conditions they do aggregate. Full report on ebird.
