With apologies for late post. The previously reported Peregrine Falcon was again perched on the old pier at Pt. Pinole Regional Shoreline Park on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, mid afternoon. Also an Osprey had flown overhead carrying a fish as I entered the park. It was relocated east of Cook's Point on the beach at Montara Bay Park. It later flew to a nearby post. Seems to be a favorite spot for Osprey. Also in same area Belted Kingfisher.
There was also an uptick in male Anna's Hummingbirds. Walking from Cook's Point to the Pier via the Marsh Trail and Owl Alley, I counted nine.
