Confirm peregrine falcon at point Pinole. Not good light but shape and beak consistent with peregrine.  Sited from water side on second dolphin (multiple pile group) from shore.

There was a Peregrine Falcon perched on the pilings of the old pier out at the point at Point Pinole Regional Park yesterday, Nov. 10, 2016, mid afternoon. Seen off Cook's Point large raft of Bay ducks including Bufflehead, Ruddy Ducks and Scaup (sp.). I did not have a scope so hard to see if there were other species in the mix. Also present seven Brown Pelicans flying and diving together, some of which had been perched on the pier.
