Altera Quartus 9.0 SP2 files wanted

Hello:

I´m searching the following files, used to be available in ftp.altera.com, but it is long gone, Intel (company that bought Altera) is
of no help, searched google but not found the following files:
90sp2_nios2eds_windows.exe (12708709 bytes)
90sp2_modelsim_ae_windows.exe (231173223 bytes)
90sp2_dsp_builder_windows.exe (106965748 bytes)
thanks

I may possibly have the Quartus 9.0 SP2 install files but will take a day or so to find it. I will check and report back.

Thank you
J.W.S.

After searching I found that I have 9.1 SP2 and not 9.0 SP2.  Hopefully this is of use to you. I uploaded it in the files area under "Other programming Systems" and inside the Altera section. I'm not a proficient user of Quartus but have installed it in WIN7 and poked around with it a tiny bit using a USB Blaster interface. I have hopes to use this program on a stalled project of my using an ALTERA EPM7064SLC44-10 CPLD chip.
Thank you
J.W.S.

Thanks, but need 9.0 SP2, not 9.1 or 9.1 SP2, and only any of the following files is available, not the full package:

90sp2_nios2eds_windows.exe (12708709 bytes)
90sp2_modelsim_ae_windows.exe (231173223 bytes)
90sp2_dsp_builder_windows.exe (106965748 bytes)

If you do find it, please put it in the files section for the group. I'd like to stash it on my archive as well.

    Happy hunting.

I do not see the files there...

For the EPM7064, MAXPLUS will work also.
I use it in WIN10 and use the Quartus II V7.2 stand alone programmer.

I had uploaded the Quartus files to the wrong place and they have been moved to "Programmable logic software tools" and then "Semiconductor manufacturer-supplied tools" and then you will see an Altera folder.  Still no 9.0 SP2 but there is now 9.0, and I installed it in WIN7 as a quick test before uploading it. It installed with no errors and opens up ok.

Thank you

Can you tell me more about the Quartus II V7.2 stand-alone programmer. Is this an Altera hardware product?

Thank you
J.W.S.

I just found and uploaded Quartus 9.0 SP2 plus the release notes.

The "Quartus II V7.2 stand alone programmer" is software, which requires a "USB Blaster" device to provide the JTAG interface to the device being programmed. The "stand alone programmer" software does not require a paid license to use, whereas the unrestricted full version of Quartus II design software requires a paid license fee.

Does the Quartus 9.0 require a license file or a dongle? The old ones
did and the net licenses expired fairly quickly.

I don't have any experience with Quartus II 9.0 but the 9.1 never asked me for any licenses. Both the 9.0 and 9.1 are called Free WEB edition so hopefully that means no strings attached.

Thank you
J.W.S.

The Quartus II "web edition" is free but Intel also has a Quartus II "subscription version" which has additional features - there is a document somewhere on Intel's developer software web site that explains the differences.

Just uploaded it to the files area.
