SH2-101 - The Tulip Nebula in SHO Narrowband

Bernard Miller

Hi,

This is an image of SH2-101, also known as the Tulip Nebula, in SHO narrowband. It is an emission nebula about 6,000 light years away in the constellation Cygnus. The nebula is about 70 light yeas wide and is ionixed by young energetic stars at the edge of the Cygnus OB3 association, including O star HDE 227018.

Thanks for looking and comments and suggestions welcomed.
