NGC 6188A in SHO narrowband

Bernard Miller

Hi,

This is an image of NGC 6188A, which is part of the “Dragons of Ara” nebula. It is located about 4,000 light years away in the constellation Ara. This is a relatively young star forming region only a few million years old. It was likely formed by previous supernova explosions. It was captured with narrowband filters and processed using the SHO Hubble Palette.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.
