NGC 5529

Hi all:

NGC 5529 is an edge-on spiral galaxy in Bootes that sits in the midst of quite a few other fainter galaxies.  In the top left corner of this image is NGC 5557, a large elliptical with multiple surrounding gas shells and tidal tails.  Near the top are two small interacting galaxies NGC 5544 and 5545, which comprise Arp 199:
