NGC 2516 - The Southern Beehive Cluster

Hi,

This is an image of NGC 2516, also known as the Southern Beehive Cluster. It is an open cluster about 1,300 light years away in the constellation Carina. It contains two magnitude 5 red giant stars seen in the upper left and right of the image. It also contains several double stars, two of which can be seen in the lower right and left of the image.
