NGC 2020 and friends

This is an image of NGC 2020 and several other nebulae and clusters in the Large Magellanic cloud. In addition to NGC 2020 at the top center of the image you can also see NGC 2014 just to the left of NGC 2020, open clusters NGC 2011 and NGC 2021 in the mid-center, and NGC 2032 (The Seagull Nebula), NGC 2035 (The Dragon’s Head Nebula), and NGC 2040 on in the upper right of the image. If you click on the link you can mouse over the image to see an annotated version with all the objects labeled. This nebula complex is about 160,000 light years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud in  the constellation Dorado.
