IC 1284
Bernard Miller
Hi, This is an image of IC 1284. It is an emission nebula about 6,000 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius. In addition to IC 1284 you can see the blue reflection nebulae vdB 118 (upper) and vdB 119 (lower). There is also a dark nebula, LDN 315, surrounding IC 1284. Comments and suggestions welcomed. http://www.azstarman.net/CDK/IC1284.htm Thanks, Bernard

Diverse in color and brightness, kinda reminds of Rho Oph. Great job!
