The other Leo Triplet
Hi all: NGC 2964, 2968 and 2970 make up a small but interesting triplet in the constellation Leo, They are all part of the NGC 2964 Group. There is a prominent tail between NGC 2968 and 2970. Not sure

A couple of Arps
Thanks Brian. A lot of these targets are a bit small for my 900 mm focal length, but it’s fun to see all the faint fuzzies that show up. Gregg Visit my astronomy & astrophotography site www.greggsastr

A couple of Arps
Hi all: NGC 2857 is a small face on spiral galaxy in Ursa Major; it holds the distinction of being #1 in Arp's Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies (sometimes called Arp's Spiral). Also in the field is Arp 285
