UGC 12073 (PGC 69101 and others) is the barred spiral at the center of this image. The galaxy is located approximately ( 225 million light-years away in Lacerta.


UGC 12075 (PGC 69110 and others) is the odd, Arp-like spiral to the left (east) of UGC 12073.


MCG+06-49-034 (PGC 69117 and others) is the even odder galaxy left of UGC 12075.


Luminance – 27x600s – 270 minutes – binned 1x1

RGB – 12x300s – 60 minutes each – binned 2x2


450 minutes total exposure – 7 hours 30 minutes


Imaged over six nights in June, August and September, 2020 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
