Is it possible to download separate programs only?
I have only found downloads for updating program (assuming an old version is already installed) or downloading all programs and requiring (?) installation of programs.

If you download the DXLabs Launcher, install and run that, you will then have the option to install only the programs you need.    The Launcher is used to start the programs, but also to notify you of updates to programs and associated databases used for various lookups (LoTW usage, etc).
