Grid not being filled in

When I make a QSO the full 6 letters show in the grid on DXView, but fails to show all 6 letters sometimes and sometimes shows nothing in DXKeeper.  Do I have something set up wrong?

+ DXView displays the location of a callsign that is suitably accurate for aiming a directional antenna. This location may not be suitably accurate for grid-based awards, in which case in should not be logged with the QSO. For example, DXView's USAP database derives a US station's location from the centroid of the zip code that station included in the postal address he or she registered with the FCC; this is fine for aiming an antenna, but not valid for pursuing VUCC awards.

+ For some callsigns, the grid square published in QRZ is "geocoded", meaning it is computationally derived from the callsign's postal address, as opposed to specified by the user. The Callbook tab on DXKeeper's Configuration window provides you with the option of accepting or ignoring geocoded grid squares sourced by QRZ.

+ If the above explanation doesn't account for what you are seeing, please specify a callsign, the specific actions you are taking, and the results you are getting.
