Feature Suggestion: Middle mouse button spot delete in SpotCollector
A suggestion to add an option to delete a spot from SpotCollector when hovering over an entry (confirm if the option is selected in the general tab?) using the middle mouse button. Instead of using the right mouse button context menu to delete a spot (or ctrl-x solution), just delete the spot under the mouse cursor when you click the middle mouse button. This feature is very handy in N1MM in the multiplier list window using the middle mouse button. These days, you just can't get around all busted spots. I'm aware of using an override for some of the common busted callsigns coming in from CW skimmers etc... but some you can't avoid.
I'm aware of the current feature set to delete a spot from the SpotCollecor window, which work well too. But this suggestion would be to do it with one single middle mouse button click. Here are the current features implemented, which are pretty good already. Max NG7M Deleting a Spot Database EntryYou can delete a Spot Database Entry, by right-clicking it, and choosing the Delete option in the resulting pop-up menu. If the Confirm spot deletion setting is enabled, a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. This can be used to eliminate erroneous spots. You can also delete a Spot Database Entry by clicking in it's left-most column - a black triangle will appear in this column, and the entire entry will be highlighted - and then striking the Delete key, or the CTRL-X key; the entry will be deleted without seeking confirmation. |

There is no way to restore an inadvertently deleted Spot Database Entry. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

Thanks for considering this feature request, Dave. I did figure it would be a check box option which would default to off. And it would adhere to the confirmation dialog box option before the delete. Anyway, it was worth a shot! :) Max NG7M
