DXKeeper logging error

Ed Ireland

I started getting this error message every time I import an ADIF file from N1MM.  What do you think is causing this?

Which version of DXKeeper?

N1MM is not including a gridsquare in its ADIF record.

I suspect you are running the since withdrawn DXK 16.7.1.
If so, follow the instructions here:
<https://groups.io/g/DXLab/message/209334>
to roll back to DXKeeper 16.6.6

If so, follow the instructions here:
<https://groups.io/g/DXLab/message/209334>
to roll back to DXKeeper 16.6.6

+ When start DXKeeper 16.6.6,

1. Backup your log (Configuration window, Log tab, Backup button)

2. Assuming you still have the ADIF file exported by N1MM,

2a. delete the QSOs you imported from N1MM

2b. import the ADIF file exported by N1MM

+ If you no longer have the ADIF file exported by N1MM, don't delete any logged QSOs; let me know and I'll suggest an alternative corrective action.

Thanks Joe and Dave.  Yes I was running DXKeeper 16.7.1 and was not aware that it had been retracted.  I followed the steps and reverted to 16.6.6.

Dave, what would be gained by deleting and reentering the ADIF?  I do not keep grid information if that is all that is incorrect in the log entry.  The other log info appears to be correct.

Thanks for the help.

+ If you're happy with the logged QSOs, there is no need to delete them and then re-import them.

+ If you did want the missing Grid info restored using your selected callbook, you could (after backing up your log) alternatively
filter the Log Page Display to contain those QSOs, and then depress the ALT key while clicking the CBA button above the Log Page
Display.
