Running DXKeeper and nothing else.  Trying just to add DX View and have confirmed that the COM port settings are correct and have selected HyGain for the HyGain (TailTwister) rotor and nothing happens.

+ Selecting a rotator on the Configuration window's "Rotator Control" tab does not immediately cause any action to occur.

+ What happens when you click on a location other than your own in DXView's World Map window and then click the SP button on DXView's Main window?

I'm using DXView as well as DXLog, and DXView controls the rotor in addition to its main purpose.  Use its Config button to set up the rotor's behavior.  Showing and setting up the Antenna presets radio buttons on the right side of DXView's window to move the rotor to a desired azimuth will also be very helpful.  They're a quick way to move the antenna to a band opening or to check for one in a particular direction.  The directions on how to set this up are all in the documentation.

As an alternative, N1MM has a stand-alone module that also does a good, basic job of rotor control should you want to use it instead.
