User Define Controls button

Rein- Here is what I use for exactly that for an FT450. The commands for your radio may be different but the logic should work. the radio commands start with ' (apostrophe). the <wait> commands slow down the steps to give the tuner time to actually tune. Each <WAIT> equals the "command interval ms) on general tab of the General tab of Config menu. I have a control set up for each band, this one is for 15m

I've been working for a while but can't get this done, maybe there are users of a Yaesu FT101 in the group who already have this working Thanks again and have a nice weekend greeting Rien, PA7RA --

+ There is no way to delay a specified interval - like 2 seconds - between steps. Instead, design the sequence so that the first click reduces power and transmits carrier, and the second click stops transmitting, increases the power, and sets the mode to CW. There are many examples of this "two click" approach in the examples in this groups' Files area. # This example from Commander's Reference documentation illustrates how to construct a button that toggles between two actions: https://www.dxlabsuite.com/commander/Help/ExampleToggleCommand.jpg 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

Hi Joe, I can't make a button that makes the FTdx101MP go to 5 watts and then gives a carrier so that my external tuner tunes the antennas. And then go back to RX after 1 or 2 seconds and put the FTdx101MP back to 75 watts in CW Mode. + There is no way to delay a specified interval - like 2 seconds - between steps. I have made a buton that put the FTdx101MP go to 5 watts and than with a hand key tune the antenna. After tune i push the button to go to 75watts but i hope that this can be done wth one single click! Rien, PA7RA |
