The best (for me anyway) solution is to register (free!) with the DARC Community Logbook and upload your logs to there.
Go to https://dcl.darc.de/public/index.php and create a new account. Once you have uploaded your logs, you can see matches with all your DOK's, and you can apply for the award directly. You can also import your LoTW log, which can provide extra matches. I upload regularly there. 73 de Phil GU0SUP |

It is easy to register, although the website is only in German and English. Once registered, upload your whole log (maybe in sections if it is very large!), and then you will be able to see which DOK's are confirmed via LoTW and the DARC logbook, and you can also then apply for other awards directly, not just DOK, but also WAE, EUDX, EU RTTY, WAC, and others. 73 de Phil GU0SUP -----Original Message-----

Yes, those instructions are great for those that confirm on air, but that's not always possible or practical with digital modes. The one single advantage of using the DARC Community Logbook is that when DL's upload there - and a great many do - that is enough to be able to claim the DOK towards the award. You can supplement that with paper cards that then need checking, but does add an extra layer of housekeeping and expense.
