File too long

Out of no where when shutting down DXkeeper and it does its backup
I am getting an error "backup aborted" and opening the config panel error is "path too long, try shorter name" I have not altered the name ever but can see the "name " is quite long. How to repair the backup "name" please. Or where to look for info. Thanks 73 Merv |

In the "Select existing log..." window that appears, navigate to DXKeeper's Databases folder, and double-click the entry for K9FDWI.mdb + DXKeeper will now maintain your log file in C:\DXLab\DXKeeper\Databases\K9FDWI.mdb + Be sure that this file is being backed up by your "full system backup" application. + If in the future you find it necessary to Recover your log from a Backup file, after verifying that the recovered log is correct, repeat the procedure above so that you log is stored in C:\DXLab\DXKeeper\Databases\K9FDWI.mdb + rather than in C:\DXLab\DXKeeper\Backups + with an increasingly lengthy name. 73, Dave, AA6YQ + AA6YQ comments below |
