Qsorder via udp?

Thanks Dave......I would like to respectfully suggest/request that you consider adding CONTACT to Dxkeeper so when a qso is logged, Qsorder can automagically record just the qso, as it does with N1MM. + Added to DXKeeper's Enhancement list; it's #2452 in https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/enhancements.htm Now, even if configured for AUTO, if you spend 20-30 minutes in a pileup, all that audio is recorded. Also QSOrder stamps the file name with the other stations callsign, making it easier to find, as opposed to date/time file name. Just a thought.... + With the "Automatically start and stop recording" option enabled, DXKeeper saves the captured audio in a file whose name includes the QSO's callsign, date, and time. + DXKeeper automatically logs the full pathname of the captured audio file in the QSO's "audio file" item. Double-clicking a logged QSO's "audio file" item plays that QSO's recorded audio. + Thus you can access captured audio files either via Windows Explorer, or by using all of DXKeeper's filtering capabilities. + While recording the last X seconds of every QSO may be appropriate while contesting, most DXers who have weighed in on the topic would prefer to record the entire QSO. In the unusual case where the recorded audio contains significantly more content than necessary, it can easily be removed with the free-ware Audacity editor: https://www.audacityteam.org/ 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

can you provide more details on how the auto mode works? + The Reference Documentation is here: https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/AudioRecordingConfiguration.htm + Usage-oriented Documentation is here: https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/RecordAudio 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

Qsorder automates all that, and only saves the audio from the qso…..so if you spend 30 minutes in a pileup, you dont need to record everything, qsorder records only 15 sevonds or so, depending on its configuration + DXKeeper's "Automatically start and stop recording" option provides automation appropriate for recording audio from DX QSOs. + DXKeeper does not issue any UDP packets when logging a QSO. |

Qsorder interacts with N1MM to record audio and names/arranges it with the callsign of the qso partner. It does this via udp triggered by CONTACT. Is it possible to have dxkeeper perform a similar function? i dont see CONTACT in the available udp commands in dxlab + DXKeeper has long provided the ability to record and log QSO audio. See https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/RecordAudio |
