Bugs or Bad User?

Hi there!

DXLab was suggested to me and it seems like some impressive software! Im very interested in propview and dxview, although it doesnt seem to be working for me.

However Ive come across some bugs or unexpected behavior and Im wondering if you folks have any tips!

Here's the current list:

For Short Path, it does not show the lowest useable frequency on the graph, and it seems to be exaggerating the open bands.

If I select Long Path, again, it only shows the max useable 90% and 50% confidence max useable and shows no open bands. This happens for all locations, be they in the us or around the world.

Also, whenever I use pathfinder, it shows the following errors in pathviewer:

From WM7D:
From OZ7C R:
From DXC:
From 1x1:
From RAC:
From 425DXN:
and from Daily DX:

+ In the "Forecasting Engine" panel in the lower-left corner of the Prediction tab of PropView's Configuration window, select "VOACAP LUF & MUF". In subsequent forecasts, the LUF will be plotted with a black line. See

+ Unfortunately, some online sources of QSL information disappear over time. There are more than 150 searches in Pathfinder's Search Library; choose the ones that best meet your needs. See

http://www.dxlabsuite.com/pathfinder/AssignSearchButton.htm

+ If you find that an online source has moved to a new URL or modified its access mechanism in a way that prevents Pathfinder from querying it, please report it here so that I can update the Search Library.

+ Attachments are not conveyed here. This is a free groups.io account, with limited storage.

+ The PropView documentation I suggested should help you generate better forecasts. The VOACAP engine used by PropView is far from perfect, but is widely acknowledged to be the best HF propagation prediction application available. PropView's NCDXF Beacon Monitor and SpotCollector both provide the ability to assess actual HF propagation; this approach is far more accurate than the ionospheric modeling employed by VOACAP.

+ To eliminate script errors reported by Pathfinder, see

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/PreventingScriptingErrors

+ There is too much novel functionality in DXLab to make "learning by clicking buttons" effective. Start here:

https://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/GettingStarted

+ All questions are welcome here, no matter how many times they may have already been asked and answered, or how obvious the answers might be in the documentation.
