Added a slider for RF Gain and changed the IPO (internal preamp) button so that it now sequences PA On - PA Off - Attenuator On - PA On.

Although these controls are specifically for the Yaesu FT-891, they can probably be used for the FT-991 with minor modifications. They can probably also be used with Kenwood radios with minor modifications as the Kenwood CAT language is very similar to the Yaesu language.

For anyone wishing to set up user defined buttons and sliders, the logic in these might serve as a guide in that many of the items interact with each other.

+ Thanks for posting your sequences, John!

We can't post pictures here, but there is a screenshot of my Commander window in this thread on the FT-891 group.

Per Dave's request, I have uploaded a zip file that contains my button and slider scripts for The DxLab Commander program.

While I see that many of the scripts in the library are for individual buttons and/or sliders, I chose to package them all in one zip file. My reason for doing so is that while some of the individual scripts are 'stand alone' (i.e. can be used by themselves), most of these are inter-related.

For example, if you look at the 'FT-891 (B06) 6 Meter MSK144' script you will see that it makes adjustments to some of my sliders and changes the LEDs on other buttons. Note also that the button or slider that I have the script assigned to is part of the name and for them to work properly together they must be assigned to the correct buttons and sliders.

Enjoy!

+ Many thanks, John!

John, I see from

https://groups.io/g/FT-891/message/957

that you have developed user-defined command sequences to control your FT-891 from DXLab’s Commander component. Could you upload them to

https://groups.io/g/DXLab/files/Command%20Sequences%20and%20Sliders/Yaesu/FT-891

so that they are easily accessible to DXLab users? Thanks!
