SpotCollector 9.0.8 is available

If you are using Windows Defender anti-malware, direct it to update its definitions from

before you install SpotCollector 9.0.8

This release

- correctly saves "Initial Cluster Command Enable" checkbox settings between operating sessions

- prevents Telnet DXClusters from spontaneously disconnecting

- prevents the generation of several errorlog.txt file entries

- provides an Ann/Talk checkbox in the upper-left corner of each Telnet DXCluster's spot source window that mirrors its Ann/Talk
checkbox in the "Telnet DXCluster" panel on the Configuration window's "Spot Sources" tab (tnx to Joe W4TV)

- adds a "Pre-filter Skimmer spots only" option to the Pre-filtering window (tnx to Joe W4TV)

- updates the ConfigurationSources.htm, CQDXInteraction.htm, DXClusterInteraction.htm, PacketInteraction.htm, Prefiltering.htm, and
SpotDatabase.htm documentation files

1. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider the new versions of SpotCollector.exe and SC_WSJTX.exe to be

a. 0/14 Jotti scanners detected malware in SpotCollector.exe

b. 0/65 VirusTotal scanners detected malware in SpotCollector.exe

c. 0/14 Jotti scanners detected malware in SC_WSJTX.exe

d. 2/66 VirusTotal scanners detected malware in SC_WSJTX.exe

e. SpotCollector.exe and SC_WSJTX.exe have been submitted to "Microsoft Security Intelligence" and found free of malware.
