I am having a blast...

Before I downloaded DXLabs Launcher I was using N3FJP ACL and a remote control program for my IC-7300.
I can still use both, but the spectrum display doesn't work in Commander, probably because of the data rate allowed for "virtual radios" it maxes out at 57,600 The only issue I have is my favorite spotting site VE7CC, doesn't connect WINSOCK error, connection times out. I have ran across this before on some other spot sites, but it works fine on three sites. That is good enough for now. I like the way the filters work in SpotCollector, I set mine pretty tight with a 20 minute life, certain bands, origins and continents. As I go I learn new stuff and I should have the capability to record or stream live demos. If that interests anyone. |

Before I downloaded DXLabs Launcher I was using N3FJP ACL and a remote control program for my IC-7300. + The IC-7300 will not convey Spectrum data to Commander unless the CI-V baud rate is 115,200. That's an Icom restriction, not a Commander restriction.
The only issue I have is my favorite spotting site VE7CC, doesn't connect WINSOCK error, connection times out.+ Several DXLab users successfully employ VE7CC as a spot source. Either you've specified the wrong address/port, or your firewall or router are preventing SpotCollector from accessing VE7CC. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

I use ve7cc.net and port 23 with no problems.

I got the site info from here http://www.dxcluster.info/telnet/index.php so I assume it is correct
I don't know how to check if my router/firewall are blocking but I can dig into that. VE7XXX does work with my other apps however. Looking further into I see that there isn't a port attached to the entry of VE7CC-1 (+CW Skimmer) like there is on other entries in the page I linked to above most of the others do have a port listed but not all of them. |

On VE7CC try port 7373. Your router may be blocking Port 23.
