SC SQL filter for 60 meters
Spot Collector SQL Band='80m' works fine. All variations of that SQL work. Band='60m' doesn't.?

What does "doesn't [work]" mean? What did you expect to happen? What actually happened? Was there an error message? I'm going to guess that you don't have any spot database entries associated with the 60m band, because your sub-band definitions don't cover it. There's an example file here that does: http://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/BandModes%202020-04-11.txt You could use that to update your sub-band definition file, as specified at the bottom of the "General" tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window. See also: https://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Help/ConfigurationGeneral.htm#Sub-band%20Definition%20panel You may need to Recompute (bottom of the Spot Database tab of the Configuration window) after updating that, to update existing spot database entries. 73, ~iain / N6ML |

cntrl-click a SQL-filter button on the main panel of SC, name it '60M' and use as filter Band="60M"

Actually, I have all the bands marked on the Band Filter. I had called CQ on 60 meters. Was spotted by several stations on the non filtered display. So, I know 60 meters was being captured
Using the same SQL format for 160m, 80m, 60m, 40m, and 30m. All filtered those bands other than 60m I got a SQL error message. Double checked the miniature font with a magnifying glass to insure the format was proper and the same as the others. I finally went around it and used Frequency Between 5300 and 5410 Thanks Don WB6BEE |

I attempted to recreate the error message. I set up the band='60m'. I did not get the error from this morning. It was the typical error message that you get with a syntax problem. But, this evening filtering on "band" produced no spots. Filtering on the frequency range of 60 meters, using "Frequency" worked fine.
I will send screen shots via direct email Don WB6BEE |

You'll find the pathname for this file near the bottom of the General tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

That's what Ian was talking about. I will check, I have never messed with that file + If you have an old one, it may not have an entry for 60m, which would explain why Band='60m' |

Ok, think I found it. The earlier Band/mode subband txt file did not have 60 meters. Sorting on Frequency would bring up a list of spots Sorting on the Band would bring up nothing. Checking the "band" column indicated that all the old 60 meter spots had a Question Mark. Created a new spot for 60 meters with the revised Sub Band Txt File. Now, it filters on the Band function
Thanks, all Don WB6BEE |
