IOTA Update Issue

Paul Kelliher

I recently uploaded my IOTA QSOs from DxKeeper to the IOTA website, that went fine and all QSOs were approved for credit.
Today I  downloaded the .csv file with the approved QSOs from the IOTA website and attempted to update DxKeeper to recognize the approved QSOs. Upon attempting the update in DxKeeper I received the following:

"The selected IOTA status file does not begin with a header row"

If, by a header file, it is referring to the row that contains the column headings I am confused because the file does, in fact, contain those headings.

Any ideas?

+ The error message means that the "header row" is not in the expected format. So that I can see what's going on, please attach your IOTA status file to an email message, and send the message to me via

+ Resolution: After downloading the status file from IOTA, Paul opened the file, widened a column, and then saved the result before directing DXKeeper to process the file. This edit should have been innocuous, but stripped all the double-quotes from the file, preventing DXKeeper from being able to process it.

+ I mistakenly thought that the IOTA team had changed the file format; thanks to Johan PA3EXX of IOTA for patiently identifying the root cause.
