The second errorlog you sent me shows Commander attempting to open COM4 at 115200 baud:

2020-03-30 23:16:35.232 > CIVModule.ConfigureSerialPort
2020-03-30 23:16:35.233 > thePort = primary CAT port
2020-03-30 23:16:35.233 > Model = KENWOOD
2020-03-30 23:16:35.234 > RadioSerialPort(CurrentRadioIndex) = True
2020-03-30 23:16:35.235 > CIVComm.OpenPort, thePort = 0, PortNumber = 4, Speed = 115200, Word = 8, Stop = 1, DTR = 0, RTS = 0
2020-03-30 23:16:42.075 > CIVComm.OpenPort, Invalid Port Number (8002), thePort = primary CAT port, port number = 4, settings = 115200,N,8,1
2020-03-30 23:16:42.075 > CIVModule.ConfigureSerialPort complete

The error message " Invalid Port Number" comes from Windows.

The screen shot you sent me showing the COM4 Properties window indicates "requires further installation", which likely means that COM4 is not functional.

My advice is to contact Kenwood Technical Support, show them the COM4 Properties window screen shot, and ask why Windows is reporting this error message when an application attempts to open this Com port.
