WW scope rotation
Jay Bromley <jayw5jay@...>
Hi Everyone!
In the stand alone MMTTY program I have the scope rotation reversed to match my main tuning knob direction. This works OK. In WW when I select or un-select the reverse scope rotation under the RTTY tab it doesn't do anything. Is there a step I am missing to make reverse rotation the same in WW as in the stand alone MMTTY program? Many thanks and 73 de w5jay/jay..

73,How are you reversing scope rotation in standalone MMTTY, Jay? Dave, AA6YQ By going to MMTTY's options, at the bottom select "Setup MMTTY", then under the Font/Window Tab there is a check box for "reverse rotation" under the color selection for "XYScope". 73 de w5jay/jay.. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Thanks! I'll investigate tomorrow when some RTTY stations are QRV.

Is there a step I am missing to make reverse rotation the same in WW as in the stand alone MMTTY program? With the "Operating Mode" set to RTTY, WinWarbler provides two XY scopes. Configuration window's RTTY tab, then WinWarbler displays a small XY scopeIf the "enabled" box is checked in the "XY display" panel on the at the right side of the "RTTY Receive" panel on its Main window. The "reverse rotation" box in the Configuration window's RTTY tab; "XY display" panel correctly controls the rotation of this small XY scope. that if enabled displays a separate "MMTTY Engine" window that includes aOn the Configuration window's RTTY tab, there is an "MMTTY Engine" panel large XY display on its right side. The "MMTTY Engine" panel's "XY display" sub-panel includes settings that enable you to control the size and quality of the "MMTTY Engine" window's XY display, but there is no control over this XY display's rotation. That's because MMTTY does not currently provide a means by which an application like WinWarbler can control this XY display's rotation. I'll rectify this in the next version of MMTTY. 73,Which of WinWarbler's two XY scopes are you using, Jay? Dave, AA6YQ

73,Which of WinWarbler's two XY scopes are you using, Jay? Dave, AA6YQ HI Dave, I am mainly using the scope from the MMTTY engine, but at times I use both scopes. However you gave me an idea to try and now both scopes are rotating in the same direction as my main tuning knob. FWIW, WinWabler's scope was rotating correctly for what I use with it's reverse rotation check box checked. However the MMTTY engine scope was not. What I did was go into WW Config, then hit the RTTY tab, and finally MMTTY setup that is to the right side of the screen. Like in the stand alone MMTTY program you can then select the Font/Window tab. Below the scope's color palate is a check box for the reverse rotation. I can't believe I didn't try this first. So now the MMTTY engine is working like WW's scope. Many thanks for your help. I am good to go now using both the stand alone program and also the whole DXLab suite with WW including the MMTTY engine that is uses. All are now doing the same thing, so nothing to change! Season's Greetings Dave and the list! 73 de w5jay/jay.. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links
