Radio Name enhancement suggestion

I just noticed the option to have the Radio Name specified in Commander appended to the QTHId in the log.
What if I am using a radio that is not on the list - as in, a radio with no computer control? My Drake TR4 or a QRP rig for example. I could create a user-defined field but I think it would make more sense to put the data where it belongs and have a way to name a radio other than those listed. -- Buck k4ia K3 # 101 KX3 #715 |

KX3, and the "QTH ID" of the "my QTH" you've been using is Fredericksburg.Suppose your computer-controlled transceiver is a K3, your QRP rig is an Then 1. in the "my QTH" you've been using 1a. change the "QTH ID" from Fredericksburg to Fredericksburg:K3 1b. set the Rig to "Elecraft K3" 2. create a new "my QTH" 2a. set the "QTH ID" to Fredericksburg:TR4 2b. set the Rig to "Drake TR4" 2c. specify the rest of the items to match those in your Fredericksburg:K3 "my QTH" 3. create a new "my QTH" 2a. set the "QTH ID" to Fredericksburg:KX3 2b. set the Rig to "Elecraft KX3" 2c. specify the rest of the items to match those your Fredericksburg:K3 "my QTH" 4. In the "Log Settings" panel on the Configuration window's Log tab, make sure the "Include radio name in QTH ID" box is not checked 5. When starting an operating session with one of your three transceivers, open the "Log Settings" panel on the Configuration window's Log tab and select the "default QTH ID" that matches the transceiver you are using. 6.
