That means you've either specified an incorrect password, or don't have an
eQSL account whose username is AB9M .

The "XXXXXX" is what I put in the email rather than posting my actual password to the group. I did check and verified that password in the error message is valid and that it logs me in to eQSL.

I do have an eQSL account with several hundred QSOs/eQSLS in the archive for AB9M. So would the answer be the same?

Thanks & 73,

Gary - AB9M

It' not the X's that I was referring to Gary it's the missing ampersand (&) between AB9M and Password. I.E. The link should be:

That link will work with the appropriate password.

Interesting solution.

The ampersand should be generated by DXKeeper, but in my case is not.

I have had the same problem going back to version 5.something, (I am now on
6.9.2). How does an end user insert the ampersand? If I insert it behind my
call in the QSL Config window the the error coes back showing not an
apersand '&' but '%26' or '%2G' (bad eyes and small print). This would
indicate to me that something else is needed.

BTW - I can upload to eQSL fine, but on trying to sync I get the error
message like Gary.

Thanks for the info Rich. How can I change the link information? Isn't it created by DXKeeper QSL Configuration?.....at least that's where my LOGIN and PW are entered. I just verified them and they are correct in DXKeeper and at eQSL. Is there a file I need to remove & recreate?

I wonder if one of the characters in your password is causing
problems. Does your password include any unusual or non-printing
characters?

The next step in debugging this would be for you to enable "log
debugging info" on the Config window's General tab, attempt a Sync
operation, and then append the errorlog.txt file from your DXKeeper
folder to an email message to me at aa6yq@... .

Dave,

In my case, I do not have any unprintable characters in my eqsl password. Its just caps and lowercase characters and numbers. I'm checking to see if my internet browser (Mozilla FireFox) is contributing to the problem with a saved password. Note: I'm using Vista Home Basic and did NOT have the Vista fix in when I first installed DXLab. I will send you my error log direct...

Thanks & 73,
