QSLing - automatism possible?
dl1akp <dl1akp@...>
Hello,
it's me again. I am up with DXLab since DOKs possible, now I got a lot of questions. Is it possible to set the default to fill in QSL_sent "R" and QSL_rcvd"R" depending on: * first band/mode then send a card and get one * band/mode allready confirmed, no card sending, no requested to receive. I mean, after logging the qso, that the fileds are filled up automatically with the correct one? 73, Andy, DL1AKP |

ARRL DXCC/Challenge and TopList awards; this is described in http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/QSL.htm and http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxkeeper/Help/Progress.htm If you want all QSOs logged via the Capture window to default to setting QSL_SENT to 'R' -- meaning that the invoking the "Add Requested" function will populate the QSL Queue with every QSO you log -- then on the "QSL Config" window's General tab, check the "Preset 'QSL Requested' checkbox" box. 73, Dave, AA6YQ -----Original Message-----

Andy,
I usually run into the same problem after importing several hundred QSO's from a contest. DXKeeper can find the one's I really need, but I also like to send a card out the first time I work someone. To lessen the workload, I've started running a script after each contest. It sets QSL_Sent to N if I already have a card, or it's someone who doesn't respond to QSL requests. Here are a couple of sample lines from the script. Filter Call = 'AA1AAA' and QSL_Sent = '' and band = '40m' and mode = 'CW' Modify QSL_Sent N Filter Call = 'ZZ1ZZZ' and QSL_Sent = '' Modify QSL_Sent N The first two lines will set QSL_Sent to N for any new QSO's with AA1AAA on 40m CW. The second set of lines will do the same for ZZ1ZZZ for all bands and modes. The QSL_Sent = '' is important otherwise you would end up modifying QSO's that have QSL_Sent = 'Y' or 'V' which would be bad. Building the script initially will take some work, but using the filters and report generator in DXKeeper, you can get a list of call signs. Then with a text editor and a lot of cutting and pasting of the commands around the call sign, it's not too bad. After running the script I can filter on QSL_Sent = '' and have significantly fewer QSO's to check. As with any script make sure you backup your log before running it. Also, I haven't tried this with version 6. 73 Alan - AA4FU --- In dxlab@..., "Dave AA6YQ" <aa6yq@...> wrote: confirmation for ARRL DXCC/Challenge and TopList awards; this is described infunction will populate the QSL Queue with every QSO you log -- then on the "QSLcheckbox" box.receive.

Andy,
µ If you only want to send qsl cards to Not worked on Band Or Mode , then use the MBUtil.. (http://dxlab.ky1v.com/addins/bmutil/index.htm). After launching this tool, BMUtil selects only the needed qso's and add"s them to the printqueu. Koen ON7RK --- In dxlab@..., "dl1akp" <dl1akp@...> wrote: receive.
