How to create POTA filter for Spot Collector

Rick WR0H

Help!  Normally, I can eventually stumble across a homebrew SQL filter that works for whatever I'm wanting to see, but this one has me stumped.

I'm looking for a way to filter Spot Collector entries to show me only those entries where the notes column contains "POTA" (for Parks On The Air stations).

Thanks!

What do you have for the label width?

My two column labels are defined (Avery 5961)

Labels per column: 10
Row 1 Offset: 0.5
Row Height: 1.0
Column 1 offset: 0.25
Column 2 offset: 4.375
Label width: 3.875

Those settings work with a Brother MFC-7860DW (monochrome laser)
and MFC-J4510DW (color inkjet) with the built-in printer margins.

Yes .. but first you need to get it installed ... if the install is having issues, its not due to a printer.

Extending the DXCC filter as you suggest above thus cannot be done without adding a new item to each QSO that maintains its DXCC entity even if the callsign is preceded by !. Unless a lot of DXLab users want this capability, I don't think the extension is justified.

DXKeeper enhancement request

Neil W3ZQI

Hello Dave:
Thank you for your extraordinary software.
A DXKeeper enhancement request to consider, please:
Enhance the double-click capability of detail lines of DXKeeper main log:  Restrict existing double-click by Callsign to only filter by Callsign when clicked in the Callsign column. Then enable all columns to filter by clicked selected data: E.g. double-click on OH,Miami in County column would filter log to just Ohio, Miami County entries.  Similar double-click on FT8 in Mode column would filter log to just FT8 entries.
  Many thanks and 73,
Neil W3ZQI

I read a few threads here that Commander is operating correctly with the IC-9700. I just received my 9700 and this is what I have found. I only found this because a friend only has a TECH licences and wanted to work some FT4 and FT8 on both 2m and 440mhz.

I have a IC-9100, IC-7610 and IC-9700 on the same PC all being run by Commander. If I set Commander to use the IC-9100 for 2m and 70cm in the MultiRadio tab.

+ By that, I assume you mean that on the MultiRadio tab's "Selection by band" panel, you have the 2m and 70cm entries set to IC-9100. Correct?

The following happens:

If IC-9100 has 440 on top

+ What does "has 440 on top" mean?
+++ Main or TX band is always on top on the IC-9100 switch top and bottom for main and sub tuners (bands)... Only top can transmit (as far as I know)

+ If your IC-9100 is the active primary transceiver with its current VFO set to 70cm, what happens when you click Commander's Bandspread window's 2m button?
+++ on both the 9100 and 9700 the Commander's bandspread seems to work if the sub band is disabled (turned off) however if you have the sub band on, the radios cannot be told to go to 440 if the subband is already 440. You will either need to send a disable sub band command (59 00) or keep switching band until the freq matches the user desired freq. This is harder as the 9700 has three band but the 9100 has 12 bands to switch and match (timely).

I would recommend adding a (07 B0)

Re: WinWarbler - Pathfinder lookup issue

Dave AA6YQ

+ AA6YQ comments below

Used to be that I could enter a callsign in the WinWarbler Call field, press the Tab key and see Pathfinder display qrz.com info for the entered callsign. Something has changed in that now I see the entered callsign in the top row of fields in Pathfinder but no info is displayed in the main body of Pathfinder. How can I regain the lost functionality in Pathfinder?

The DXKeeper - Pathfinder functionality works as it long has. Entering a callsign in DXKeeper's call field and pressing the tab key results in Pathfinder properly displaying qrz.com info for the entered callsign.

+ WinWarbler directs Pathfinder to perform "lookup" operations in the same way that DXKeeper does. If Pathfinder is automatically invoking its QRZ search when direct to perform a lookup by DXKeeper, the same mechanism should work with WinWarbler. Thus my first suspicion is interference from an incorrectly configured anti-malware application that is preventing WinWarbler from interoperating with Pathfinder.

+ As a first diagnostic step, please reboot Windows into "Safe mode with networking". Then start WinWarbler and Pathfinder, and see if WinWarbler can now direct Pathfinder to initiate a lookup.
