I think he wants to transmit his POTA (SIG) information during the
QSO, before it's logged.

+ One's own POTA information does not change from QSO to QSO; that information can simply be specified in the macro.

Not sure what happened but when i am in the qsl que, and press update log to mark those records as 'y' for being sent. Nothing happens. Thre is a very quick window that disappears (too quick to read)
+ Did you print QSL cards or QSL labels, or generate an ADIF or tab-delimited file from the QSL Queue? If not, the "Update Log" function will do nothing because there is nothing to update. If you want the QSL Queue cleared, click the Clear button.

here is the error log

2020-09-13 21:51:34.847 > program error 3420 in module ADIF.ImportRecord, State = 33, I = 119: Object invalid or no longer set.

2020-09-13 21:51:34.854 >

+ The errorlog indicates that DXKeeper was directed to log a QSO conveyed from another application, but lost access to your log during the operation (the first "Object invalid or no longer set" message). If you were conducting QSLing operations while simultaneously logging a QSO from another application, that could explain the failure to log the QSO.

Dave - Looking at my laptop where all works, the path on the launcher Config menu for all apps is C:\DXLab, whereas as you will see in the screen shot of the DT version all (except the Launcher) start as C:\ProgramFiles. So, do I need to delete the "ProgramFiles" part of the paths to make this work?
I sent the Screen shot again to your ambersoft address.

Thanks for the help on the address question

As for the second question

When  I already Sent a card, i want to rely on lotw, eqsl rather than a physical card for confirmation  (like to collect cards) and I want to reduce the cost  postage for those call I already sent a qsl card to.

Also Don't want to send another card to someone who at the end will not confirm send a hard them selves

The sql query assumes that I know which call signs have fallen into those category,  but I do not

Hi Henk.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Yesterday, it worked with port 52000.

Today I  got the error message again that it was in use.  So I launched the Resource app.  Port 52000 is not being used by anything according to the Resource app, which I kind of expected but it's nice to verify.

Not only that, there has been no change on my PC since last night when it all worked.

Oh well.  I'll keep looking.

Dave - Appreciate your comments, but you may have missed some of the context in this e-mail series. In short, the HD died, the Staples Techs replaced it, re-loaded the OS (WIN 10), and restored what they could from my Clone and mirror image drives . . . but unfortunately also dragged/dropped all DX Lab apps except the Launcher from the drives. So, when I downloaded the Launcher it came up OK, but all other apps in the Config menu were absent, even though they show up in the C Drive under DXLAB. I have a good Workspace file for settings, but of no use unless the apps are accessible. The checks Dave suggested indicate some files are missing, but I am not confident that I can track them down and do what is needed.
So, I am reasonably confident that I and my Staples Techs can UNINSTALL all DXLab apps so that I can Re-Load from the Launcher. What is wrong w/ my approach?

+ If "but unfortunately also dragged/dropped all DX Lab apps except the Launcher from the drives" your DXLab applications would not be installed, and would not run. Your DXlab applications are installed, which means you can't just delete them (unless wiping your C: drive and reinstalling Windows sounds like fun).

+ Let's methodically determine what you have. "Fire" comes after "Ready", and "Aim".

Don’t delete and reinstall the DXLab applications.. This may cause more problems than you are currently having.  It will overwrite some of your current  (previously saved) files.

Take the time to do as Dave suggestedRushing to get through a disk crash repair when you already have the data/files you need will only compound your problems when DXLab is finally running, because you’ve lost some of your settings and/or file updates.

I just finished, yesterday, a Boot disk replacement and followed the detailed instructions Dave pointed you to.  Yes, it took some time, but I have everything working like it did before the disk replacement (and operating system replacement).

Pls explain. Seems like starting over clean should be a good way to get up and running. . . rather than looking for missing files. is there some risk of uninstalling? - alan

Dave - Appreciate your comments, but you may have missed some of the context in this e-mail series.
