There is actually a quick way to find the broken links which occurred to
me, and you probably know as well, which is to use an online link
checker like validator.w3.org ; I pointed it at

I veiw this as a small nit as one can always google to find the actual
docs....

I suddenly started having a problem uploading my log to LOTW.

to move it back on.
It doesn't show up with alt-tab or in the task manager applications.

The errorlog shows DXKeeper successfully starting TQSL.exe, with no signs

of trouble.

The Sysop of ON0DXK mailed me today and told me i am connecting and
disconecting the cluster every 5 minutes and it give a lot of useless
traffic.

The led on the Spot source status shows yellow.

I have no idea whats wrong.

If the button is yellow, then SpotCollector is not successfully logging

in to the cluster. On the Configuration window's "Spot Sources" tab, be sure
your username is set to your callsign.

After about 40 hours of intensive use of theDX Lab Suite, i would like to
propose to the Group some feature requests.

1) The possibility to open/close each of the Auxiliary Areas (Auxiliary,
QSL, OnLine QSL, Awards, ecc ecc) using a Fnn key or a combination
keystroke. As not all of us can use 2 monitors i think it would be a nice
feature.

2) Working on my log, i feel the need of a "Note field" on the main QSO Area
(a field place under the field "Power" "Code" "DXCC" "Entity". The "Comment"
field presents in the Details Area is not immediately reachable. IMHO.

Regarding your first two suggestions, it sounds like you are using the

Main window's "Log QSOs" tab for logging QSOs in real time. Have you instead
tried logging using the Capture window? This provides all of the primary
items except those needed for logging a satellite QSO.


3) I feel the need to mark a "QSL Sent Via" with a new Letter "O". This in
order to mark those QSL requested via OQRS. Nowadays the OnLine QSL Request
System is being increasingly used. It would be importanto for me to identify
QSLs requested using OQRS.

ADIF does not define 'O' as a legal value for "QSL Sent Via"; I suggest

that you use 'E' for this purpose.


4) I'd like to see the "Call" field in the QSL Main Area with a bold font
and with a Dark Blue color in order to immediatly indentify this primary
info during Edit operation or QSO insert.

5) In the QSO Main Area i've noted that some fields are too wide. On the
oter hand some are too small.
I suggest to shorten these fields:

QTH
TX Freq
RX Freq,
Entity
Begin
End

and to enlarge:
Name

I realize that enlarging the fields "Via", "Tx Band" and "DXCC" has not
sense but i find the "Name" field too small.

Everyone has different preferences for the widths and positions of the

text boxes and selectors. If I change them to satisfy one request, there'll
be a deluge of new requests, many of them conflicting. Making it so that
users can re-arrange the boxes and selectors with whatever widths and
positions they like is technically feasible, but would consume significant
development time at the expense of new capabilities of higher priority, and
make DXKeeper more difficult to learn, document, test, and support. Thus I
do not expect any change in this area.

All seems to run fine (many thanks Dave for the SwissLog import filter).

Now i'd like to know if i have to run the Fix PJ script (in my Log i have
all the new entities worked after 10.10.10 plus the deleted ones). What have
i to do? Have i to run the Fix PJ script or not?

If your QSOs made with the new PJ entities after 2010-10-10 specify the

correct country code (numbers in the 517-520 range), there is no need to run
the FIX_PJ script.


Sql Expression.
As i not have skills with SQL expression, some one could suggest me how
create a Filter (ADV Tab -> SQL Quesry Filters 1-4) in order to filter the
Log Page Display using the "APP_ DXKeeper_QSO_Number" field?
As i have to edit a lot of QSOs i'd like to use this unique reference to
speed up the work.
Could someone let me know what expression i have to put in the field?

The SQL expression

APP_DXKeeper_QSO_Number=1

will display the QSO whose QSO# is 1

The SQL expression

APP_DXKeeper_QSO_Number=<filtertextbox>

will display the QSO whose QSO# is specified in the Filter panel's text

box. If you're going to be frequently filtering by QSO#, place this filter
expression in one of the first "bank" of SQL Query Filters on the "Advanced
Sorts, Filters, and Modifiers' window, and set the Caption to "QSO #". Then
by clicking the Filter panel's ~ button, you'll get a QSO# button in the
Filter panel with which you can quickly filter for the QSO# specified in the
Filter panel text box.

The Sysop of ON0DXK mailed me today and told me i am connecting and disconecting the cluster every 5 minutes and it give a lot of useless traffic.

The led on the Spot source status shows yellow.

I have no idea whats wrong.
